Youngsters at Bradleys Both Primary School are being challenged to read as many books as they can during the February half-term holiday.

And the pupil from each year who is the biggest bookworm during the Readathon will receive a prize.

A school spokeswoman said: “This is not a sponsored event, but if any parent would want to donate a small amount to CLIC Sargent, the charity that Readathon supports, we would be pleased to pass it on.”
