A Keighley gym has given Manorlands a £330-plus boost.

Betta Bodies raised the cash with an Olympia Roadshow at its Goulbourne Street premises.

About 100 people attended the event, organised by business partners Robert Carr and Mark Holmes.

Special guests were Trevor Chrouch – ‘Mr T’ – and British bench-press record holder ‘Big Baz’, who offered training and nutrition advice.

There were also weightlifting competitions, a raffle and a collection.

The event celebrated the opening of refurbished facilities at the gym.

Mr Carr said: “We were delighted with the success of the event and the money raised, and plan to hold a further one in the summer. Both Mark and I have had family members cared for by the team at Manorlands.”
