Fed up eating pies? Then get knitting!
That’s the command to local people from Tour de France enthusiasts in the Worth Valley.
The latest Hollywood-style sign in a field above Oxenhope suggests people should get to work with some Yorkshire yarn.
In July, the sign will display the message ‘Welcome to Yorkshire’ when the Tour cyclists pedal through the Worth Valley. Until then, the letters are being rearranged every few weeks to create a new message.
Children from local schools last week went along to see the latest message – Knit Wool – wearing their own winter woollies.
The sign, which last month bore the message Eat Pies, can be seen in a field above Shaw Lane in Oxenhope.
