One of Keighley’s busiest roads will be partially closed next week.
A section of Bradford Road, between the Toby Carvery – formerly the Beeches Hotel – and the Emily Street junction, will be shut in one direction for resurfacing.
Traffic heading into Keighley will be diverted via Wenning Street and Dalton Lane.
Vehicles travelling out of the town will be unaffected.
The closure will take effect between 9.30am and 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Bradford Council said all businesses and residents on the section of road had been informed, and buses would be using the diversion route.
Coun Val Slater, the council’s executive member for housing, transport and planning, said: “We are trying to keep disruption to a minimum by only closing one side of the road and carrying out this essential work during the half-term holiday and at off-peak times.”
