I must let off steam about the challenges and social exclusion that benefits claimants come up against time and time again, especially as like many organisations, the DWP is now behaving in a linear stepwise manner due to computerisation. An unresponsive approach causes many to go down the ladder towards foodbanks, sanctions and despair. Would it not be simpler to invest in improvements and possibly more employees at the JobCentre to tailor services to the individual and have some humanity put back? This could be the case if nuclear weapons were reduced.
