Leaflets promoting Haworth’s participation in Yorkshire in Bloom are due to be distributed in the village.
Gill Hill, of the reformed ‘Haworth Bloom makers’ group, said the design of the leaflets had been finalised, and these will be distributed as widely as possible.
The material is meant to encourage residents to get behind the effort to put on a good show for this year’s competition judges.
Mrs Hill said that from now on, group members will be meeting on the first Wednesday of each month, to make it easier for people to set aside time in their diaries. The next meeting is due to take place at 7pm on March 5 in the Old Hall pub.
Mrs Hill added: “We may move the venue around a bit – we really want to have Mill Hey involved.”
