Babes and Tots meet each Friday at the Shared Church from 9.15am for play, stories and much more. This is a happy group. If you are new to the village you will be made very welcome.
Descant community choir also meets at the Shared Church, on Thursdays from 7.30pm. New members are welcome to join the choir for a good sing in a friendly atmosphere.
Denholme Crafters meet on Thursdays in the Mechanics’ Institute, from 1pm to 4pm. Lots of beautiful items are produced and the ladies are very willing to pass on their skills to newcomers.
Denholme Community Association is holding a 60s and 70s music dance night on Saturday, March 8, at 7.30pm in the Mechanics’ Institute main hall. Tickets are available priced £4 from the post office or by phoning (01274) 833086 or 833521. Soft drinks, tea and coffee and snacks will be available throughout the evening. There’s no licensed bar but you can bring your own if you like.
