Keighley Twitter queen Mich-elle Crowther and her family are getting in the saddle for a Sport Relief fundraiser.

The Crowther clan will this summer carry out the local leg of the Team Honk relay from Lands End to John O’Groats.

Michelle and husband, David, will next month cycle through Haworth and head towards Huddersfield.

The couple’s two-year-old son, Gabriel, will cycle part of the route, and their one-year-old daughter, Willow, will also take part.

Michelle runs the @keighleypeople Twitter feed, tweets herself as @crowtherclan, and writes a monthly Keighley News column about the Clan-destine Cake Club.

She is a member of Team Honk along with many other UK bloggers, Tweeters and Facebookers.

About 150 members will try to raise £20,000 for Sport Relief this Spring by carrying a baton on a 300-mile journey lasting six weeks.

She said: “The Crowther clan are very excited to be part of the West Yorkshire leg, along with some lovely bloggers.

“On March 7, we will collect the baton, travelling via Haworth on our our bikes, then drive a short distance to the canal.”

The West Yorkshire journey also includes bloggers like cyclist Helpful Mum, Eehbah-Mum who will Morris dance from Ilkley, and PretAMummy, who will run from Silsden to Keighley.
