Appeals have been lodged after two separate planning applications in Keighley West ward were rejected by Bradford Council.
Plans for a first-floor side extension at 66 Bracken Bank Grove were thrown out, with the council saying it would have an overbearing impact on a neighbouring conservatory and “unbalance” the semi-detached pair it forms part of.
And a bid to amend a previously-approved application to provide rear decking and additional windows at 57 Staveley Road was also refused by planners, who said it would represent an “unwelcome and strident feature”.
Visit the planning section at bradford.gov.uk and search under the application numbers – 13/04226/HOU for the Bracken Bank Grove plan, and 13/04571/FUL for the Staveley Road application – for further information.
