Thermalwear giant Damart – whose warehousing facility is at Steeton – has donated £1,000 to improve a park.
And the company, which employs about 250 staff at its warehouse site off Station Road, has given warm clothing to the volunteers carrying out the project.
The Prince of Wales Park in Bingley is being extensively refurbished.
Damart’s senior and e-commerce manager, Ben Phillips, said: “We’re full of admiration for the volunteers who are working hard to not only raise money to improve the park, but also turning out in all weathers, twice a week to do the often back-breaking work needed.
“We’re delighted to not only be able to boost the fundraising campaign, but also help keep these hardy volunteers warm while they work.”
