Brownies from the 2nd Wilsden pack turned on the style to celebrate their section’s centenary.

They used drama, song and rap to trace the history of the Brownies.

And they put on a performance for parents in the final meeting before the half-term break.

The girls wore a selection of uniforms, covering a period from the 1930s to the present day.

The project formed part of work on two interest badges, Entertainer and Brownie.

One group acted out the story of how the Guide movement began.

The second performed The Brownie Story, and the third produced an energetic rap about the founding of Brownies and how they got their name.

“Finally all the groups came together to perform some of their favourite Brownie songs before enjoying a special birthday cake and interest badge-themed cupcakes made especially for the occasion by Taylormade Treats,” said a pack spokesman.
