The Camino de Santiago was the title of a talk with slides of a charity walk by Ian Nichol when he visited the forum last Thursday. The fantastic views in colour were indicative of the terrain on this long walk. Some of the roads went in a straight line for miles showing the Roman influence in the area. The weather was changeable – some days glorious sunshine and then rain and low cloud. The president, John Cockerill, thanked the speaker for an interesting morning.
