A concert organised by the club will raise money for Yorkshire Air Ambulance. It will take place at St Andrew’s Church, on Newmarket Street, Skipton, on Saturday, March 22, and will feature Airedale Male Voice Choir, conducted by Steeton man John Smith.
Rotary club president Major Alan Hickman said: “The Yorkshire Air Ambulance is a vital part of making our county safe and civilised. With no state or local authority support it carries out a vital task, every day, come rain or shine.”
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets costing £5 are available from Isaac’s Working Jewellers, High Street, Skipton, e-mail mandahickman1@gmail.com or phone (01756) 700565. Payment can also be made at the door on the evening.
