A Keighley store is on the move.

B&M Retail is transferring from its current premises to a larger unit on the same retail park.

Twenty new jobs will be created, and the store is hoping to add booze to the list of products it sells.

An application for an alcohol licence – allowing the sale of drink between 8am and 10pm daily – has been submitted to Bradford Council.

B&M will leave its existing building on the Cavendish Retail Park in Cavendish Street and open at the neighbouring former Sports Direct store on April 4.

“We are delighted to announce the move into the larger, 21,000 sq ft premises,” a company spokesman said.

“Customers can expect to see a more extensive non-food section, including gardening, home accessories, furniture and electrical ranges, as well as a wider variety of branded products across groceries and toiletries.

“We are also investigating the opportunity to sell alcohol.”

Keighley store manager Fiona Mcgrain added: “We’re really proud to be opening a larger outlet, and are excited about getting the doors open on April 4 to showcase our bigger and better ranges.”
