Simple lunches are being served up weekly in Keighley during Lent.
Visitors to the Friday sessions – at the Salvation Army, in High Street – are invited to make a donation, with all proceeds going to Christian Aid.
“It’s a lunch of soup, cheese and a roll, and tea or coffee,” said organiser Margaret Ward.
“We had about 40 people at the opening session, and everyone was very generous.”
Keighley Churches Together runs the venture, with a different church providing hosts each week.
Help is also given by pupils from Holy Family Catholic School in Keighley.
The lunches continue at the Salvation Army from noon each Friday until April 11.
