Optical retailer Vision Express has pledged a Keighley store that was among a number bought recently will not close.
The company has acquired 65 stores nationally from Rayner Opticians, including the College Walk branch.
Bosses said 38 of the outlets, including Keighley’s, are becoming part of the Vision Express portfolio and continuing to trade from their existing locations.
Optical services at the remainder will be transferred to Vision Express premises.
A company spokesman said: “The Vision Express brand and business has been performing strongly for the past three years.
“Therefore it is timely we seek opportunities in the right locations to increase our market share and bring the Vision Express experience to new customers.
“I can confirm Keighley remains open and will continue to trade. All employees have been retained.”
