A spokesman for Keighley Bus Museum Trust said he hopes Keighley Bus Station can have a part to play when the Tour de France arrives in the town in July.
Graham Mitchell said transport authority Metro had now confirmed that the bus station would not be available for buses to use on July 6.
However, he said the facility does provide a useful area of hardstanding in the centre of Keighley, which could be exploited for other purposes on the day. He added that he also hoped the bus station’s public toilets would remain open.
