A Haworth company, famous globally for its manufacture of uniform accessories for the military and police forces, is celebrating a milestone.
Wyedean Weaving has been in the ownership of the Wright family for 50 years.
And the anniversary is being marked with an open day at the firm’s Bridgehouse Mill premises.
Former employees are invited to attend the April 7 event, from noon to 3pm, which will include tours of the mill, photos of past events and staff, and a commemorative unveiling. Light refreshments will be served.
A company spokesman said: “Over the years, many people have contributed to our continuing success and so we are calling all former Wyedean employees – where are you now?
“We would like you to come to our open day to reminisce, meet old work colleagues and see how our business has evolved over the years.”
Anyone wishing to attend should phone (01535) 643077 or e-mail reception @wyedean.com.
