A Keighley business administration apprentice has scooped a prestigious prize.
Courtenay White has won the Advanced Non-Clinical Apprentice of the Year Award, from NHS Health Education Yorkshire and the Humber.
She works four days a week with the office and communications team at Bradford District Care Trust.
“Winning the award is an incredible achievement and is testimony to my hard work within the trust,” said Courtenay. “The apprenticeship scheme helped me to develop my basic business admin skills, which are valuable for the job role I want to go into.”
She is due to complete her level three NVQ in advanced business administration at Shipley College this summer.
The award was presented by Tim Lund, regional director of Skills for Health, at a ceremony in Leeds.
