Local artists who have been inspired to explore their creative side by the Tour de France have been invited to put the results on public display in Keighley.

Central Hall, in Alice Street, is encouraging people to submit any art or poetry related to the Tour for inclusion in a month-long display within the building’s cafe.

Keighley cycling enthusiast Frank O’Dwyer, of Black Hill, has already had some of his own work showcased in Central Hall.

Daniel Hall, who is enterprise development manager at the venue, said: “Our gallery space is now available and ready for individuals’ work to be displayed.

“Artists can simply bring their work to reception here and it will be hung on their behalf. Any family or friends along with other members of the public who wish to view the pieces are more than welcome to join us. Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8.30am until 4pm.”
