Walker Foster Solicitors – which has an office at Silsden – raised over £9,000 for charity through the latest Will Aid campaign.

Across its four branches, around 220 wills were prepared and a total of £9,192 – including gift aid – was raised.

During Will Aid, held annually, participating solicitors waive their usual will-making fees in lieu of a donation.

Proceeds are split between nine UK charities.

Walker Foster has now taken part in five campaigns, raising over £32,000 in total.

“We are delighted to be amongst the top 20 Will Aid fundraisers in the country,” said Stuart Rowland, a partner in the firm and head of the private client department.

“This is entirely down to the hard work and dedication of our staff and of course the generosity of our clients.”
