Pensioner activists in Keighley are focusing on the effects of last month’s budget.
Keighley and Bradford Pensioners Association has highlighted the gains and effects for older people.
The association’s magazine details changes announced by Chancellor George Osborne.
The article states: “The budget has been widely reported as appealing to pensioners and savers.
“Some measures, such as pensioner bonds, will indeed help sizeable numbers of older people.
“Yet for many people over retirement age, it will not be good news overall.”
The magazine raises issues such as the benefits cap, public services cuts, savings, pensions and the freezing of tax allowances. Visit kbpa.weebly.com.
