Haworth sculptor Craig Dyson has repaid an eight-year-old boy’s support by showing him round his studio.
Charlie Dawson donated some of his 2ps for Craig’s plan to weld thousands of coins into a giant sphere to mark the Tour de France.
In return, Craig invited Charlie, from Clayton, to his village studio to learn about the project first hand.
Craig said: “Charlie came with his mum and dad and left beaming from ear to ear. I was left with a sense of determination to not let Charlie down. He is now running a campaign in his school to see who can collect the most 2ps.”
