A Keighley butcher has been appointed to a top regional role in the industry.
Roy Dykes, of Keighley Market Hall, is the new president of the Confederation of Yorkshire Butchers Councils.
“I’ve been a member of the confederation for years, and it is a great honour to be voted in as president,” he said.
“I’m very pleased and proud to take on the role.”
Mr Dykes, pictured above, will serve a year as president, representing the confederation at various events.
Mr Dykes, 56, who lives at Ingrow, has been in the butchers trade for more than 40 years. His market hall business was established in 1996.
