Maths will be on the timetable at the district’s next Public Forum for Education.
The meeting, on April 23, will discuss how maths provision for youngsters could be broadened and support provided in the home and community.
Anyone is welcome to attend the forum, in Conference Room D, Future House, Bolling Road, Bradford, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
Councillor Ralph Berry, Bradford Council’s portfolio holder for children’s services, said: “Raising educational attainment is one of our top priorities, so it is vital that we share information on how we can develop young people's skills in maths.
“If you are a parent, young person or practitioner, come and add to the debate!”
Michael Jameson, strategic director of children’s services, said: “Having good skills in maths is so important if our students are to succeed. This is an opportunity for us to look at good practice and share information.”
