Members of Silsden Town Band will reveal their new uniforms later this month.
They will be on show for the first time at a concert at St Peter’s Methodist Church, Cross Hills, next Saturday, April 26, at 7pm.
The uniforms have been made by specialist supplier Handley’s, of Leeds.
Resplendent in their new outfits, the band – which is sponsored by the Co-operative Funeral Care – will play a range of modern and old classics under the baton of musical director Andrew Dunn. And, there will be a rendition of Baggy Trousers, made famous by the group Madness.
Tickets cost £5 and are available from 01535 634106 or on the door. All proceeds will go to band funds.
