Patients are being urged to stock up on essential medicines to see them through the Easter holiday.
NHS Airedale, Wharfedale and Craven Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) reminds people that GP surgeries will be closed.
But it adds that pharmacists, many of whom will be working over Easter, are qualified experts in the use of medicines and can give advice.
Dr Colin Renwick, of the CCG, said: “If patients are taking regular medicines, making sure they have enough stocks to last over the holidays is essential. This could prevent them becoming ill or even avert a medical emergency.”
