An alternative view of Brontëland culture is highlighted in a new exhibition in Haworth.

The Other Side showcases the work of contemporary artists and designers from the Keighley area. The exhibition, part of the Yorkshire Festival Fringe, runs from today at Damside Mill gallery in Jacobs Lane, Haworth.

Taking part are Silsden sculptor Sam Shendi, American-born artist Judy Sale, Haworth photo artist Jo Holland and furniture maker Anthony Hartley.

Damside Mill is a furniture workshop, studio and gallery off Lees Lane in Haworth, and is open from Thursdays to Sundays from 10am to 4.30pm.

The exhibition will run until July 6, the day the Tour’s Grand Depart travels through Haworth.

Visit downside mill.com or call 07758 779183 for further information about the exhibition.
