Richard Dewhurst, of Apartment 16, Woodlands Mill, Mulberry Lane, Steeton, was ordered to pay £382 for driving whilst unfit through drugs and possessing a class C drug. An order was made for the drug to be forfeited and destroyed Samuel Spencer Cairns, of Flat 1, 57 South Street, Keighley, was ordered to pay £140 for resisting a police officer in the execution of his duty Thomas Wilkinson, of 48 Queens Road, Keighley, was given a community order – with a six-week electronically monitored curfew and a requirement to carry out 100 hours’ unpaid work – for an offence of failing to notify the Department for Work and Pensions of a change in circumstances, which he knew would affect his entitlement to benefits, for which a community order had previously been imposed Sharaz Ahmed, of 12 Victoria Avenue, Keighley, was jailed for 18 weeks – suspended for 12 months – ordered to carry out 200 hours’ unpaid work, banned from driving for 18 months and ordered to pay £165 for driving while disqualified, without insurance and not wearing a seatbelt The following were each ordered to pay the amount shown for driving without due care and attention: Lorraine Keating, of 4 Oakbank Avenue, Keighley (£255) and Ashley Metcalfe, of 21 Upwood Park, Black Moor Road, Oxenhope (£180) l The information in this file is supplied by Bradford and Keighley Magistrates’ Court.
