An annual dog show that attracted entrants from across the country has been hailed as a huge success.

The Keighley & District Canine Association event on Monday featured 210 dogs.

People travelled from as far afield as Newcastle and Melton Mowbray to be at the Victoria Hall show in Keighley.

“It went very well and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves – we certainly got some extremely good feedback,” said association secretary and treasurer Dorothy Bailey.

“The standard of entries was high. There were some very nice dogs.”

‘Best in show’ went to a dalmatian from the north-east.

Refreshments were available and there was a raffle.
