A Keighley fire and security alarm company is working with two top venues.

The firm has signed a security partnership contract with the Broughton Hall estate, near Skipton, and sister venue Aldourie Castle on the southern shores of Loch Ness. Both sites are owned and run by the Tempest family.

Broughton Hall estate manager, David Claxton, said: “The age and opulence of these estates, along with the wide range of functions, presents us with complex issues.

“A close working relationship with Keybury is essential in creating the safest possible venues. This includes fire risk assessments, regular servicing of all equipment and the drawing-up of comprehensive evacuation plans.

“Keybury has successfully met these demanding challenges, often very ingeniously.

“For example, it disguised sophisticated systems behind wooden panels and installed security beams emitted via tiny hidden apertures at strategic locations.

“The many ornate ceilings also needed special protection.”
