St Paul’s Wives Group meets twice monthly in the Mechanics’ Institute for interesting talks and demonstrations by a wide range of speakers. The next meeting is at 7.30pm on Wednesday, April 30, when David Alred will talk on ‘Canadian Contrasts’.
Morning worship at the Shared Church this Sunday will be led by Judith Drake.
The new cricket season started last week and this Saturday our village first XI will entertain Oakworth, starting at 2pm. Refreshments will be available throughout the day. This week’s match ball sponsors are Jim Gration, Gordon Riley and Walsh & Co accountants.
