Denholme Rural Crafters meet at the Mechanics Institute on Thursdays from1pm. Non-members are invited along on May 15 to make a patchwork bag.
People asked to take along their own materials. The charge is £4 for non-members, and booking essential, by calling Beryl on (01274) 832653.
Denholme Elders will hold a drop-in on Monday for all those aged 50 and above. The cost is £1, including refreshments.
Denholme History Group meets each month for a variety of speakers. The topic for the meeting next Wednesday at 7.30pm in the Mechanics Institute will be “Our House and its Contents”.
Denholme’s 2nd XI cricket team will play Eldwick and Gilstead at home on Saturday. Home-made sandwiches will be available during the interval. The match ball sponsors are Anne Jay and Mr and Mrs Howard Blackburn.
