New jobs are on the cards following a £500,000 revamp of a car dealership in Cross Hills.
White Rose VW boss Frank Greenway said he expected the present staff numbers to grow by ten per cent in the next six months.
He added: “It has been well worth the money – I’m very pleased with the outcome.”
The project had involved a complete refit and extension of the showroom, a new-look valet area, new equipment in the workshop and work was being finished on an upgraded car hand-over area.
“It means people who come to collect their vehicle can do so in a special area, on their own and be given a thorough introduction to their new car,” said Mr Greenway.
Earlier this year, the independent family-run company – founded by Mr Greenway in 1993 – saw off hundreds of rivals to win the Volks-wagen award for the best after-sales service in the UK and Europe.
