St Andrew’s Church – On Sunday there will be a service of holy communion at 8.15am and at 10am. At 10am the preacher will be Tim Lee, our Church Mission Society mission partner who will tell us about the Jigsaw Kids Ministry Project in Manila, the Philippines. From 2.30-4.30pm the church will be open for visitors and tea and scones will be available in the Parish Rooms. On Saturday, May 17 we are welcoming Bible scholar Margaret Barker who will lead a seminar on the Gospel of John from 9.30am-4pm. The cost is £10 and people should book by contacting the vicar on (01533) 633307 or vicar@kildwick.org.uk. Margaret Barker will also preach at the 10am service on Sunday, May 18.

Farnhill Methodist Church – The monthly coffee morning will be held on Saturday from 10-11.30am. Cakes, bric-a-brac, knitted items and clothes will be on sale.

The Village Pump, a group for older people, meets on Wednesday in the lower hall at Farnhill Methodist Church from 2-3.30pm.

The next meeting of Farnhill and Kildwick History Group will take place on Monday, May 19 at 7pm in the Institute Building in Farnhill Main Street. Mr David Gulliver of Cononley will talk about historic documents relating to Farnhill and Kildwick that are held in the Cononley Local History Association Archive. Admission is free and the meeting is open to everyone.
