Volunteers are being sought to help spread the word about the appeal.
People living in the Keighley, Oxenhope, Bradley and Wilsden areas are being asked to deliver leaflets to shops, cafes and community organisations.
Each volunteer is being invited to take a batch of 100 leaflets, which are publicising the appeal.
The plea has been issued by A&E secretary, Karen Williams, who is the first volunteer for the Emergency Department Appeal. E-mail her at Karen.Williams@anhst.nhs.uk to arrange a time to collect a batch.
