A stunning line-up of great comedians is promised for the second My Newt Comedy night at a Keighley town centre pub.

Organiser and stand-up comedian Daniel J Kennedy said there will be guaranteed belly laughs on at The Royal Oak in Damside on Sunday.

Steeton resident Daniel added: “The line-up features one of the best professional comedians on the circuit and a mix of the very best up-and-coming acts supporting him.”

Headliner Gavin Webster started in the early 1990s, and has supported comedy giants including Lee Evans, Jack Dee and Phil Jupitus.

He has appeared on TV shows like Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and provided the voice for Viz comic character Sid the Sexist in Channel 4’s Blaps.

Opening the night will be Nick Cranston, a “rip-roaringly funny” act, who is hailed by comedy website Gigglebeats as one of the north east’s most promising comedians.

He is followed by Peter Brush, who was placed in the top three of last year’s BBC New Comedy Award on Radio 2, and Monty Burns, whose material could make Frankie Boyle blush!

Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm. Tickets cost £5 from the bar of The Royal Oak.
