Cononley Post Office is to get a facelift as part of a major investment programme.
The new open-plan facilities will offer longer opening hours for customers, with services available from a till at the retail counter throughout shop times.
The branch will close at 5.30pm today to allow for works to be carried out, and will reopen at 1pm on Saturday.
Post Office area manager, Julie Kemp, said: “We understand how important having a post office is to residents in Cononley, and we are confident this new modern post office service will meet the needs of the local community and secure services for the future.”
Cononley’s opening hours will be 7am to 7.30pm Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 7.30pm Saturday and 8.3am to 12.30pm Sunday.
