People have been encouraged to make use of a seasonal Worth Valley bus service.
The number 812 has returned to the valley and will continue running every Sunday and bank holiday until September 14.
The bus connects Haworth station and the Bronte Parsonage Museum to Stan-bury, Ponden Reservoir and Scar Top Pine at Moor Lodge.
The service is sponsored and funded by the Worth Valley Joint Transport Committee – formed from the three parish councils of Oxenhope, Haworth and Keighley – with financial assistance from Metro, Scar Top Pine Ltd and the Worth Valley’s ward councillors.
A WVJTC spokesman said: “The 812 bus has been called the invisible service in Haworth because some residents and shopkeepers seem unaware of it.
“Yet it performs an extremely valuable function. It is also the only bus service that reaches right into the Bronte Parsonage car park, giving easy access to the literary shrine.”
