Manorlands is on the hunt for ‘Fund-raising Hospice Heroes’.
The Oxenhope Sue Ryder home is seeking volunteers to help with a range of tasks. Roles include collection organisers, community and events ambassadors and fundraising group members.
Manorlands regional fundraising manager, Hannah Taylor, said: “Volunteering with Sue Ryder is not just rewarding. You’ll get to share and develop your skills, meet new people and have a really good time.
“You’ll also make a massive difference to the lives of those we care for.”
Judy Newiss, a community ambassador, said: “I would describe volunteering as fun – an opportunity to put my innovative ideas into action,” she said.
