On Saturday members of St Andrew’s Church are welcoming Bible scholar Margaret Barker who will lead a seminar from 9.30am-4pm on the Gospel of John. The cost is £10 and people can still book by contacting the vicar on (01535) 633307 or vicar@kildwick.org.uk. Margaret Barker will also preach at the 10am parish communion service on Sunday. On Sunday there will also be a service of holy communion at 8.15am. From 2.30pm-4.30pm the church will be open for visitors and tea and scones will be available in the Parish Rooms.
The Village Pump meets in the lower hall at Farnhill Methodist Church from 2-3.30pm.
Farnhill and Kildwick History Group The next meeting of Farnhill and Kildwick History Group will take place on Monday at 7pm in the Institute Building in Farnhill Main Street. David Gulliver of Cononley will talk about historic documents relating to Farnhill and Kildwick that are held in the Cononley Local History Association Archive. Admission is free and open to everyone.
