Keighley Festival children’s day is massively expanding for its second year at East Riddlesden Hall.
But the increase from 300 to 500 schoolchildren means the organisers need more activities to keep youngsters occupied.
Festival chairman Malcolm Hanson has appealed for clubs and societies to go along to the July 8 event.
He said: “You might want to display models, show films, mount a photographic exhibition – basically anything you think children will be interested in.”
Radio presenters and performers are also welcome to join in as pupils from ten schools descend on the historic hall.
Mr Hanson said: “We’ve had unprecedented interest from schools wishing to attend. It’s shaping up to be a phenomenal day.”
