Pensioners robbed near Asda in Keighley
Two pensioners were treated in hospital following an alleged robbery yesterday in Lawkholme.
Police were called to Bingley Street, near the Asda superstore, at about 6.15pm, following reports of a robbery.
Officers detained a 44-year-old man at the scene, and he is currently in custody while enquiries continue.
A police spokesman said: "A 79-year-old woman and an 80-year-old man received treatment at hospital for minor injuries and were subsequently discharged."
