Parkside School students took to the track as a reward for their academic achievements.

Youngsters from the Cullingworth school took on each other at go karting, with Oliver Schofield taking pole position on the podium.

The trip was one of several organised by Parkside as part of its recently-introduced RewardZone.

Other students have been to football matches, a day trip to Blackpool, ten-pin bowling and fencing lessons.
