An event to help a Silsden teenager who broke his neck in 2011 while playing rugby takes place on Sunday.
The third tag rugby event for Nathan Cubitt will be staged at Keighley Rugby Union Club in Utley.
Proceeds will be split between funding Nathan’s care costs and the Matt Hampson Foundation, which provides advice, support or treatment for people suffering serious injury or disability while taking part in sport.
The tournament, which starts at 10am, is being run in partnership with ‘Try Tag Rugby Ltd’.
There will be fancy dress tag rugby, Try Tag events, face painters, a hog roast, tug-of-war and lots of other family fun. The deadline for teams to enter has now passed.
