Firefighters today rescued a girl who had trapped her knee in school railings in Keighley.
A crew from Keighley Fire Station was called to Ingrow Primary School following the breaktime incident.
Firefighters used an electric spreader to bend the railings safely away from the ten-year-old pupil’s knee.
Watch commander Andy Quinn said the girl had been climbing along the railway railings when she got her knee stuck.
He said: “She was fine. She wasn’t in any pain, and was probably a bit embarrassed.”
