POLICE have named a motorcyclist who died in a crash at Oxenhope.
Tony Stevenson's motorbike collided with a road sign in Hebden Bridge Road, at about 6.20pm on June 12.
The 57-year-old was from Halifax.
Police are still investigating the crash and want witnesses to come forward. Officers are particularly keen to speak to the drivers of a small silver saloon car and a small blue sports car seen in the area at the time.
Detective Superintendent Simon Beldon said: "This was a serious incident and we are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
"It is believed a car was close by when the incident occurred. We urgently need to speak to the driver, believed to be a man, to help establish what took place and I would encourage him to come forward now to speak with us."
Any witnesses or anyone with information can ring police on 101.
