PART of a woodland in Oakworth was left trashed by revellers who left the site strewn with broken bottles, condoms and drinks cans.
Annie Berrington, who runs an outdoor learning and activities social enterprise, said she discovered the damage in Griff Wood on Monday morning (July 28) when visiting the area to run a children's outdoor play session.
She added that she even found the smouldering remains of a bonfire, which she and the other members of her group were able to extinguish.
"It looks like there's been a massive party, which has left the area unusable for any families wanting to visit," she said.
"I've spoken to local people who say the land was in that state since at least last Thursday. (July 24) "We found some exercise books there, so it looks as if this could have been an end of term party.
"I just think it's such a shame that they've spoiled the wood for other people who want to use it.
"I don't have a problem with young people going up there and enjoying themselves, but this time they left a massive mess. There is broken glass everywhere, which is dangerous."
Bob Thorp, tree and woodland manager at Bradford Council, responded: "We were contacted by a member of the public on Monday about the mess left in Griff Wood, and are making arrangement to tidy it up."
