KEIGHLEY’S Lego man is shopping for votes after creating a model department store.

Keith Moran hopes the Lego company will adopt his design for a new playset in toy shops.

He needs to attract at least 10,000 votes from visitors to the Lego Ideas website.

Mr Moran runs the local franchise of Bricks 4 Kidz, providing Lego- based activities for local schools and children’s groups.

He designed the department store for the Lego City Range which includes a fire station, police station and vehicle, and was chosen for the Staff Picks section of the Lego Ideas website.

He said: “Out of thousands of models, it’s amazing that they have chosen my design to be on the website.”

Mr Moran’s department store will be displayed at the planned Keighley Bricks Show on October 25 at Central Hall in Keighley.

Visit to see the department store and register your vote.
