THE DATE of a Keighley gig featuring London/Kent band Electric River has changed.
The rockers play the Gassienda, Russell Street, on October 1 instead of September 28.
Support band for the gig has changed from rock Bottom Risers to fellow Keighley outfit The Ramblers.
Electric River are due to perform at the Gassienda – also known as the New Variety Club – as part of their Keep The Engine Burning Tour.
They promise air-punching and sing-a-long anthems that would be most at home in a stadium.
Promoter John Gow said: “Electric River’s latest album album has got pure soul, 100 per cent rock ‘n’ roll, intelligent lyrics, and catchy as a dose of flu choruses.”
Electric River have toured with New Model Army, played the Rebellion Festival and the Camden rocks Festival, and repeatedly toured the UK.
Expect a mix of Gaslight Anthem, Biffy Clyro, The Clash and early U2 from 7.30pm on October 1.
Tickets cost £6 on the door.
John is a long-time frontman for Keighley bands and in the past has organised several high-profile gigs at the Gassienda by visiting artists.
